What Is Resin-Bound Surfacing?
Resin-bound surfacing is a system formed by mixing washed natural aggregate with UV-stable resin and applying it onto a prepared base to create a smooth, fixed stone finish.
Unlike loose gravel, the stone is fully bound in place, allowing water to drain through the surface while maintaining a clean, uniform appearance.
Suitable for driveways, paths, and entrances where both appearance and drainage are important.
Correct Preparation Comes First
The performance of a resin driveway depends almost entirely on the base underneath it.
During the site visit, we assess the existing ground, levels, and drainage and advise whether the current base is suitable or requires replacement. This prevents movement, cracking, and sinking after installation.
Excavation depth, sub-base compaction, and edge restraint are completed before the resin is installed.
The surface is only as good as what it sits on.
